The Elite Conference

If you are going to be a Junior or Senior in high school and you are interested in teaching agriculture – this conference is for you!

The Elite Conference is hands-on, packed with activities and is designed to get you off the right start in your future in agricultural education.

During the Elite Conference you will learn about the ag teaching profession, talk with university representatives, current ag teachers, plus more!

2009 Fall Elite Conference

The 2009 Fall Elite Confererence was held at the Illinois Department of Agriculture Building on November 13th. We had 50 participants and over 10 Community College and University Agriculture Education representatives available for students to visit with. Between Illinois Ag In The Classroom activitites, building machines from a corn cob and the Agriculture Teaching Panel, the students attending had a great time and learned how great of a career teaching Agriculture can be.
